Тема, получившая достаточное отражение в академической литературе, по-прежнему остаётся востребованной, что связано с динамичностью самого объекта исследования. Слабо разработанным аспектом проблемы остаётся геополитическая составляющая процессов формирования, становления и развития транспортных коридоров. На восполнение этой лакуны направлена представленная статья.</p><p>В представленной работе ставилась цель изучить влияние геополитических факторов на развитие транспортных коридоров, изменения их структуры. В рамках этой цели были проведены исследования по следующим направлениям: изучение природы геополитических факторов, политических мотивов создания, управления и контроля за транспортными коридорами. В результате автором обоснован качественно новый уровень сложности мирового геополитического ландшафта, обуславливающий развитие транспортных коридоров. В статье исследованы процессы формирования двух диалектически противоположных тенденций: «сжатия» пространства за счёт увеличения интенсивности и скорости коммуникации и его «расширения» в силу интеграции в глобальную транспортную систему новых территорий. Статья дополняет содержание, которое агрегируется вокруг назревшей необходимости формирования новой научной дисциплины «геополитика транспорта».</p><p> </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents the author’s perspective on the problems associated with the phenomenon of transport corridors. This topic has received sufficient reflection in the academic literature, but still remains in demand due to the dynamic nature of the research object itself. The geopolitical component of the formation, and development of transport corridors is still poorly covered. This article is aimed at filling this gap.</p><p>The goal of this paper was to study the influence of geopolitical factors on the development of transport corridors and changes in their structure. As part of this goal, research was carried out in the following areas: study of the nature of geopolitical factors, political motives for the creation, management and control of transport corridors. As a result, the author substantiated a qualitatively new level of complexity of the world geopolitical landscape, which determines the development of transport corridors. The article examines the processes of formation of two dialectically opposite tendencies: «space compression» due to an increase in the intensity and speed of communications and its expansion due to the integration of new territories into the global transport system.
