Geoeconomics of Energetics is a quarterly scientific and analytical journal published by the Institute of CIS Countries.

In January 2018, the Institute of CIS Countries began publishing a special issue of the scientific and analytical journal "Post-Soviet Continent" – "Geoeconomics of Energy", which presents research by employees and invited experts on topical issues of the development of the Russian energy sector.

In June 2019, the journal was registered as an independent mass media (certificate of registration series PI No. FS77-75848 dated June 13, 2019, certificate of registration at the National ISSN Center).

The journal "Geoeconomics of Energetics" is recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications in which the main scientific results of the dissertation for the degree of candidate and Doctor of Sciences should be published.
